Rubber does not stretch like leather. Calf measurements are max circumference at the widest point — not stretch.
How to Measure
- Stand on a hard floor with your heel against a wall.
- Mark the longest toe; measure heel → toe in cm.
- Women add 6 mm, men add 8 mm to get insole length.
- For calf: sit with knee at 90°, measure widest part, not tight.
- Use the larger foot / larger calf when sizes differ.
- Wear the socks you'll actually use — thin ankle socks vs wool boot socks change the fit.
- No half size? Size up for thick socks, wide feet, or wider calves.
- Boots should feel snug at the heel and roomy across the toes.
